Refund Policy

Ad Shield Scam Radar (“Ad Shield”, “we”, “our”) offers paid subscription plans through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Refunds and cancellations are governed by the store you purchased through and by this policy.
1. Where you purchased determines where you refund
- iOS / Apple subscriptions: refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com within Apple's eligibility window (typically 14 days for EU users, “reasonable” otherwise).
- Android / Google Play subscriptions: refunds are handled by Google. Go to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions or contact Google Play support within 48 hours of purchase for self-service refund, or within their support window after that.
- Web / direct purchases (when offered): contact support@adshieldradar.com. Refunds for unused service time within 14 days of purchase are honored as a goodwill policy unless local law mandates a longer window.
2. Cancellations
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your Apple ID Subscriptions page or your Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — you keep access through that period. No partial refund is issued for the remainder of a paid cycle except where required by local consumer law.
3. Mandatory refunds under consumer law
Where applicable, we honor refunds required by your local consumer protection laws — including the EU Consumer Rights Directive (14-day cooling-off period for digital services), the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, and equivalent statutes in Australia, India, and other jurisdictions. To exercise a statutory right of withdrawal, email support@adshieldradar.com with your order or receipt details.
4. Service issues we'll always refund
If something on our side broke and made the service unusable for an extended period — e.g. the scanner was down for days, your account couldn't process payments, or a promised feature was never delivered — reach out and we'll make it right, regardless of which store you purchased through.
5. What is non-refundable
- Already-consumed metered usage (e.g. DocuScan single-scan packs, after the scan has run)
- Subscriptions cancelled after the renewal date for a period where the service was available and working
- Chargeback-driven refunds without prior contact
